Neulich war ich auf einer der
weltweit bedeutendsten zeitgenössischen Kunstausstellungen, der dOCUMENTA (13). Unter dem Thema “Collapse
and Recovery“ (Zusammenbruch und Wiederaufbau) stellten 300 Künstlerinnen und
Künstler 100 Tage ihre Werke aus. Zeit und Raum - Objekt und Betrachter - Wirklichkeit und Fiktion - sind Begriffspaare, mit denen die Künstler spielten.
Viele Menschen. Große weiße Räume. Warmes Licht, welches durch die Rundbögenfenster scheint.
Aus den verschiedensten Richtungen bläst kühler angenehmer Wind.
"Eine leichte Brise zieht den Zuschauer durch den Ausstellungsraum" heißt das Werk von Ryan Gander. So startete für mich meine erste Documenta in Kassel. Was mit einer "leichten Brise" begann, wurde zu einem Orkan an Sinneseindrücken.
„Die 13. Documenta in Kassel ist absichtlich unbequem, unfertig und kantig. Bei jedem Schritt muss der Besucher wissen, dass ihm grundsätzliches Wissen fehlt.“, so Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, die künstlerische Leiterin der dOCUMENTA (13).
Man braucht echt verdammt viel Zeit, um alles, was einem begegnet verarbeiten zu können. Alles, was fasziniert, anzieht, abstößt und in deinen Kopf haften bleibt.
Irgendwann reicht, aber leider auch nicht mehr die Kraft, um sich mit allem detailliert zu beschäftigen und so verweilt man unwissend an einigen Objekten und nimmt sie nur noch genüsslich wahr.
Eine Pause, in der man durch den Park spazieren geht, um einfach die Gedanken schweifen zu lassen oder einfach mal etwas Essen geht, waren daher zwischendurch von Nöten.
Für etwas Abwechslung sorgt auch der Harfenspieler Harald Kramer, dem man zuhören kann, wie er virtuos irische Klänge herbeizaubert und sich gleichzeitig normal mit dir unterhält.
Nach der Pause tauchte ich wieder in die Fusion aus Gegenwart, Vergangenheit und Zukunft ein.

berichtete von einem künstlichen Darm, der ausgestellt sein soll. Man gebe ihm
Essen, anschließend würde man den Verdauungsprozess verfolgen und zum Schluss das Endprodukt
sehen können. Fasziniert davon suchte ich nach dem künstlichen Darm und fragte auch einige Mitarbeiter, die auch wie ich amüsiert darüber zu sein schienen, aber mir jedoch keine Auskunft darüber geben konnten.
